Long-term Care Insurance
We are continuously expanding our contract opportunities to improve access to care. If a patient has an insurance plan that we do not currently accept, we will reach out to the insurance company to request a single case agreement. This agreement allows us to provide out-of-network care for the patient. Journey Nursing Services is committed to expanding our insurance network to ensure we can accept any patient, regardless of their financial situation or circumstances. If we are unable to provide care, we will supply a list of additional care providers; but we cannot guarantee that they will accept the patient’s insurance.
We frequently receive questions about whether Medicare pays for caregiving. Unfortunately, at this time they do not cover these services. Please see our frequently asked questions for more information.
Once we receive a referral for a patient at Journey, we will proceed with a client contract that requests patient data, insurance information, and consent to care agreements.
