NURSING SERVICES
Skilled nursing services include nursing shifts and visits to meet medical needs and assessments. Nurses’ complete tasks such as: assessment, coordinate care with medical providers to meet health goals, complete wound care, provide intervenors fluids, fill medication sets, and more.
CAREGIVING
Caregivers assist with the daily needs of patients in community settings. They assist with Activities of Daily living (ADLs): personal care needs, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise. Basic food preparation: preparing meals, medication reminders and assistance, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, medical appointments, and other errands.
Our caregivers are experienced and certified. They receive patient specific training and participate in ongoing continuing education to ensure that they have the skills to meet our client’s needs. All caregivers are reference checked. They complete Federal background checks with fingerprinting at hire and every 2 years of employment. Our Caregivers work under RN Supervision which allows expansion of caregiving abilities, so the caregivers may be delegated to administer medications or complete basic medical tasks.
NURSE DELEGATION
RN Delegation is a requirement in Washington State that allows Caregivers to work above their scope of practice for stable patients under the monitoring of a Registered Nurse in certain community settings. The RN provides education on how to safely perform a patient specific task and the caregiver is able to complete that care in the nurse’s absence. The nurse reviews the skills of the caregiver and completes a patient assessment every 90 days, or more frequently if necessary. This service adds an additional layer or protection for your loved one.
LONG-TERM CARE AND PLACEMENT
This service is required for the placement of patients seeking placement in adult family homes and then annually while living in the adult family home.
NURSE CASE MANAGEMENT
Case management assists with the navigation of the health care system. This may be used when there are life changes occurring and a patient needs assistance to set up care and supplies in the home, advocate for the patient as needed, or attend doctors’ appointments.
STAFFING SERVICES
Supplemental Staffing contracts for Registered Nurses, licensed practical nurses, caregivers, and other ancillary staff to facilities needing additional staffing or who are in crisis.
